Everyone can benefit greatly from therapy. Aristotle has been often quotes as saying, “A life that is not explored an analyzed is no wroth living.” This means that to know yourself is all important. We all carry excessive unconscious guilt, fear, rage, and patterns of perceiving in a world that perpetuates these emotional states. These patterns and emotions need to be seen before they can be changed. The only mechanisms shown to have any effectiveness in addressing this point is psychotherapy. It can help people with stress and drug dependence. It helps people to be more themselves and to live freer lives.
