What goes on in therapy?
Therapy involves a one-to-one confidential relationship between a specialist in human relations and a patient.  The therapist listens carefully as the patient talks of his past, present, and future.  Patterns of behavior emerge.  The therapist or patient begins to notice important patterns and an understanding of how these behaviors or attitudes arose.  Through a dialogue the patient reveals his past, his pain and with the therapist’s support learns new ways of responding to others and to life.  At its best, therapy is a verbal, emotional, intimate, safe and interesting journey that takes you into your unconscious, your past and finally into your rightful future.
